We Produce It For You It's FREE

Swing | Jazz | Blues | Big Band | Jive | Lindy Hop | Balboa | Charleston

How Does This Work?

All you need to do is complete the online form at the footer of this page where you can submit your chosen vintage tunes.

There is an option on the form to select your favorite presenter and they will produce the show using your submitted tracks to air online.

What We Need From You

Recorded classics from the 1940s are historically shorter than today’s modern music and 18 - 19 vintage classics are required to fill an hour's production leaving space for narrative.

All we need from you is the chosen artists along with the track name. You will need to prefix each track numerically if you wish them played in a specific order.

Alternatively, we will use our discretion for the running list. If you wish to add a specific dedication to a track please let us know at the footer of your submission form.

Is There A Cost?

No, this Is a FREE service

There is no cost to produce an hour-long recording of your vintage Desert Island Disc.

We are run by volunteers and operate as a not for a profit entity and our overheads are supported by voluntary listener donations.

If you wish to make a donation, you can by using any major credit card below.

Music Request | What vintage classics can I pick?

You can pick from classic music Including, Swing, Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Jive, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa,

Although we operate as a 40s station, that does not pigeon hole us strictly to the 40s, and we will accept tunes from 1920 right through to 1959 which gives you a very broad spectrum.

Can I Have  A Copy of the Desert Island Disc?

We will keep a hard copy of the show for future re-runs and we can email you a copy of your desert island disc using "We Transfer" using the email address you supplied with your request list.
